Obituary of Jossie Anderson

Jossie Anderson, 87, departed this life July 1, 2019 at Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan, MO. She was born January 16, 1932 in Haiti, MO to the late William Roy and Hattie Mae Eaves Thrasher.

Jossie married Hillard Scott Anderson in Piggott, AR on July 8, 1950. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1999.

Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping yard sales and watching games shows.

Surviving are her children, Scott Anderson of Doniphan, Mary Tillman of Jonesboro, AR, and Donna Rhinehart of Lafe, AR; sisters, Jeanette Hudgins, Caruthersville and Ruth Stidham; and brothers, Kenneth Thrasher, Jackson, TN and Robert Thrasher; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Gloria Webster; sister, Mary Hardesty; and three brothers, Tom, William, and Gene Thrasher.

Graveside services for Jossie will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2019 in the Doniphan City Cemetery with Wayne Tillman officiating.
