Obituary of Gwendolyn Joyce Hudson

Gwendolyn Joyce Hudson, 76-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO departed this life Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her residence.  Mrs. Hudson was born June 13, 1943 in Acorn, MO to the late Dewy and Maggie Helms Dunlap and had worked as a forklift operator in a factory.  She thoroughly enjoyed painting, crafts, and gardening, and won several ribbons in County Fairs for her work.  She attended the Currentview Church of Christ.

On June 12, 1958, in Clay County, AR she was married to Aubrey Eugene Hudson, who preceded her in death November 8, 2014.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by children, Billy Ray and Michael Lee Hudson; sister, Juanita Dunkin; and brothers, Jim Pringle, Leo and Kelly Dunlap.

Surviving are two children, Thomas Hudson of Currentview, MO; Laura Jordan of Corning, AR; sisters, Patricia Langel of Currentview, MO; Nancy Turner of Crestview, FL; son-in-law, Bill Don Jordan; grandchildren, Stephanie and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Levi, Luke, Lyla, Jayce, and Tiny, and a special friend, Herb.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Hudson will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM.  Visitation will begin prior to the service at Noon.  Burial will be in the Pope Chapel Cemetery.
