Obituary of Patsie Ruth Brown

Patsie Ruth Brown, 74, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Sunday, May 5, 2019, at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri. 

Mrs. Brown, daughter of Raymond and Katherine (Farris) Lewis, was born June 10, 1944, in Doniphan.  She had been a budget analyst for the Department of Defense.  She enjoyed sewing, fishing and cooking and was of the Baptist faith.

On April 29, 1967, she was married to Gilbert “Buddy” Brown, Jr. in Doniphan and he survives.

Also surviving are 4 children:  Angela (Scott) Gilbert of Doniphan; Karen Brown of St. Peters, Missouri, Jacob (Lauren) Brown of Eureka, Missouri, and Jessica Brown (Jesse Cooper) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 1 sister, Ann McDowell of Westover, Maryland; and 5 grandsons, Jackson, Casey, Alex, William and Johnny.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, George Lewis.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019, in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Bob Featherston officiating.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Diabetes Association.
