Obituary of Elizabeth LuAnn White
Our beautiful Butterfly has gained her wings. Fly high beautiful girl, Elizabeth LuAnn White (13). Known to all as the “Butterfly Child” she passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at her home in Crosby, ND. Prior to living in Crosby, Elizabeth lived in Doniphan, MO. From the day Elizabeth was born she has been a special girl. She was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa and has fought an amazing battle. She has always had such a positive attitude and pushed herself daily to be the princess she was. Elizabeth is survived by both parents, Randy and Jenny White; brothers, Austin and Zack White; sister Haley Putman; beloved dog Bella; Grandpa Lloyd Walker; Grandma Alice Walker; Aunts and Uncles including Gary (Pete) and Jessica Long; Roy (Houpy) and Amy Long, Hardy White, Denni and Krystal White, Dennis and Ashley Garamella, Christina Benefield, Melinda Marlowe, Bob and Debbie Carpenter, Kevin and Cecilia Walters, Maynard Walter, Jane Mitchell, Penny Frair, Tammy Smith, her favorite soldier, Sadie Benefield and lots and lots of cousins.
She was preceded in death by Grandpa Dennis White, Grandma Betty LuAnn Dicken, Papa Von Smith, Great-grandparents, Baby brother or sister and cousin Gary Long, Jr.
Elizabeth was a 7th grader at Divide County Junior High where she had lots of friends. She loved to play softball, ride 4-wheelers, dance and cheer on her brothers in basketball and football. Elizabeth loved singing, her favorite song was One Call Away by Charlie Puth; she was always singing that song as a way of inspiring herself and others. Elizabeth was very adamant about raising awareness of Epidermolysis Bullosa. She has inspired many people with her amazing ability to fight her E.B. She loved her family and friends with all her heart.
Visitation will be Sunday evening, April 14, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan, Missouri. The funeral service will take place Monday morning, April 15, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Dickens Cemetery in Harviell, Missouri.
