Obituary of Sudie Lou Hancock

Sudie Lou Hancock, 80, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Hancock, daughter of Velter and Edna (Gower) Anderson, was born September 5, 1938, in Okema, Oklahoma.  She had been a school secretary in Arizona and especially enjoyed cooking.  Mrs. Hancock was a member of the Bellview Church.

On December 24, 1958, in Versailles, Missouri, she was married to Arvill Hancock and he survives. They had just recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Also surviving are a sister, Georgia Clark of Sedalia, Missouri; 3 grandchildren, Erika Seals of Gilbert, Arizona, Robbyn Truitt of Michigan and Michael Truitt of Doniphan; and 1 great-grandson, Christian Seals of Gilbert, Arizona.

Mrs. Hancock was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jane Chelton; and 2 brothers, Parnell Farris and V. T. Anderson.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 2:00 p.m.at the Bellview Cemetery in rural Doniphan and will be officiated by Brother Jerry Cooper.
