Obituary of Clifford "Jack" Watson

Clifford “Jack” Watson, 92, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, March 24, 2019, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan.

Mr. Watson, son of Joe and Lettie (Rackley) Watson, was born March 15, 1927, in Missouri.  He had been a welder and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

On December 12, 1948, he was married to Elizabeth Bell and she preceded him in death on August 28, 2010.

Mr. Watson was also preceded in death by his parents; 2 children, Pat Correa and Bruce Watson; 3 sisters, Helen, Thelma and Ethel; and 2 brothers, Homer and Mac.

Surviving are 2 children: Gary Watson of Doniphan and Brenda Watson of Moline, Illinois; 1 sister, Leola Fehler of Bellview, Illinois; 1 brother, Lonnie Watson of Bardley, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.  The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Dennis Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Bardley Cemetery.
