Theresa Sue Vancil, 55, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, October 16, 2011, at her residence.
Mrs. Vancil, daughter of Hanford and Leora (Davis) Smith, was born June 5, 1956, in Ripley County, Missouri. She was disabled. She enjoyed the river, cooking, painting, drawing and plants.
Surviving are her husband, William Vancil of Doniphan; two children, Adam Berry and Autumn (and Randy) McKinney, both of Doniphan; one sister, Margaret (and Rick) Rushin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three grandchildren, Preston Talley, Lexie Talley and Riley Berry; her sister-in-law, Brenda Smith of Park Hills, Missouri; and family friends, Ed and Pam Barham of Doniphan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hanford and Leora Smith, and one brother, Dennis Smith.
Visitation for Mrs. Vancil will begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning, October 20, 2011, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
