Obituary of Matthew Alan Barker

Matthew Alan Barker, 31, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Monday, January 14, 2019, at his home.

Mr. Barker, son of Shawn and Doronda (Tighe) Barker, was born April 16, 1987, in Rockford, Illinois.  He was a carpenter in the construction industry. Matthew loved all outdoors, especially fishing, kayaking and hunting and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his parents, Shawn and Doronda Barker of Fairdealing; 2 children and their mother, Lucas and Laura Barker and Kimber Thomas, all of Doniphan; 2 brothers, Michael Barker of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Christopher Barker of Fairdealing; and 1 sister, Alethea Baker of Doniphan.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Arron Zweep.

There will a be memorial service on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at noon at the Pilgrim’s Rest Church in Fairdealing
