Obituary of Robert Ray Burch
Robert Ray Burch, 78, resident of Doniphan, Missouri and La Porte, IN departed this life, Thursday evening, October 18, 2018, at his residence, in Ripley County.
Mr. Burch, son of Ira Jay & Ada Belle (Niswonger) Burch, was born May 1, 1940, in Ripley County, Missouri. He was a retired pipe fitter, working in the steel industry. Robert enjoyed tinkering on the farm, working on his tractors, and collecting antiques.
On October 27, 1966, he was married to Carol Schwarz in Crown Point, IN. She survives
Also surviving are four children: Starla Jean (James) Musgrave, William Jay Burch and Debbie Ann Burch all of La Porte, IN and Tracy Lynn (Hipolito, Jr.) Pacheco of Michigan City, IN; four sisters Wanda Moore, Betty Shonk and Francis Pringle all of Doniphan and Dean Brooks of Texas; four brothers Ira Burch Jr and Marion Thomas Burch of Doniphan, Gene Burch of Arizona and Ed Burch of Biggers, AR; four grandchildren, Erin Musgrave, Sarah Musgrave, Ethan Musgrave and Hipolito Pacheco III; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Burch was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Mary Stoneburger, Edna Burch, and Ada Marie Welch
Visitation will be Monday, October 22, 2018 from 11 am till 1 pm at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin 1 pm at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Pope Chapel Cemetery at Current View.
