Ernest Kinney, 81, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Kinney, son of William and Ellme (Denton) Kinney, was born December 10, 1936, in Petersburg, Illinois. He had been a butcher in the meat packing industry.
Surviving is one son, Charles Kinney, of Doniphan; 4 sisters, Glenna Doyle, Kate Ex, Emma Rimmer and Edith Bell; and 3 brothers, Glen Brubaker, William “Bill” Kinney and Robert “Bob” Kinney.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, David Kinney; one brother James Kinney..
Burial took place 0n October 8, 2018, at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois.
