Pamela Kay Harp Allen, 55 year old resident of Doniphan, MO departed this life Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Saint Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, AR.  Mrs. Allen was born August 23, 1963 to the late Hobert Harp and Willa Dean Fulford Harp, in Piggott, AR. 

Pam had been a teacher’s aide in Reyno, AR, and loved to read, enjoyed fishing and tending to her flower garden.  She particularly enjoyed game nights with her children.  She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

 

In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Harp and her mother and father-in-law Junior and Joan Allen.

On December 5, 1982, in Doniphan, MO she was married to Rick Allen, who survives.  Also surviving are children, Jennifer Marie Perkins of Pocahontas, AR; Gary Wayne (Tabatha) Allen of Pocahontas, AR; Michael Anthony (Lindsey) Allen of Jonesboro, AR; her mother Willa Dean Harp of Doniphan, MO; sisters Athena (Art) Moore of Paducah, KY; Suzanne (Harold) Schultz of Paducah, KY; brothers Charles (Mary) Harp of Hickory, KY; Carl (Kathy) Harp of Doniphan, MO; Danny (Doris) Harp of Advance, MO; 4 grandchildren, Hannah Perkins, Chance Lane, Austin Perkins, and Serenity Allen;  also surviving are 1 step-son and 3 step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Allen will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.  Visiting will begin at Noon on Tuesday, and burial will be in the Poynor Cemetery.
