Bobby Joe “BJ” Gimlin, 38 year old resident of Doniphan, MO departed this life Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Bobby was born August 14, 1980 in Pocahontas, AR to the late Henry and Elma Dean Gimlin.

BJ enjoyed riding motorcycles, detailing his vehicle, and spending time with his nephews.

Surviving are his sister Cassie (Cody) Gimlin of Doniphan, MO; brothers Tommy (Shirley) Gimlin of Doniphan, MO; Terry Purvis of Doniphan, MO; and nieces Ashley and Kyndyll; and nephews Hunter, Leland, and Tucker.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jared Baker officiating. Visiting will begin at 11:00 AM and burial will be in the Union Cemetery.
