Eric Erman Turner, 24, of rural Ripley County, Missouri, died Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan, Missouri.
Mr. Turner, son of Stephen and Christina (Maloney) Turner, was born March 6, 1986, in Doniphan. He was employed in the warehouse of Lucke Distributing Company in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Eric enjoyed playing the guitar.
Surviving are his parents, Stephen and Christina Turner of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Meghan Turner of Poplar Bluff; his paternal grandparents, Gene and Deloris Turner of Hayti, Missouri; and his girlfriend, Tia Stroud.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Maloney.
Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Gerald Griffin officiating. Burial will be in the Cox Cemetery in Supply, Arkansas.
