Edward Paul Ficke, 72, of Doniphan, Missouri left this world Tuesday, June 12, 2018.
Edward was born April 6, 1946.
On February 17, 1968 he married Josephine. After 50 years of marriage, she still survives.
Ed made a living for his family fabricating ornamental iron and he moved them to Doniphan in 1979 to enjoy the country life. He was a skilled wrought iron artist. He even built the fencing and gazebo in Heritage Park in Doniphan.
All four children survive: Ronald (Kim W.) Ficke, Kim (Eric) Fann, Jarret (Allison) Ficke and Cathe (Denny) Walters.
He was a proud, loving grandpa of Ethan and Kirstynn, Shaylee (Brandon), Michael, Troy, Clayton and Tanner.
A private family memorial will be held at a later time.
