Obituary of Goldie McFann

Goldie Mildred McFann, 67, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, October 3, 2011, at her residence.
Ms. McFann, daughter of Vernie and Mildred (Bostic) Sherrod, was born July 22, 1944, in Black Oak, Arkansas. She was a certified nursing assistant. Ms McFann enjoyed gardening, especially working with flowers.
She was married to Larry Hitt and he survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Bissette and Cindy Hitt, both of Doniphan; one sister, Ola Nelson of Doniphan; four brothers, Marvin Sherrod of Marvel, Arkansas, James Sherrod of Manila, Arkansas, Jerry Sherrod of Little Rock, Arkansas and Frank Sherrod of Ellsinore, Missouri; and one grandson, Hayden Flax of Doniphan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jimmy Sherrod.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning, October 6, 2011, at the Pine Cemetery in Pine, Missouri.
