Obituary of Monte Zahn Dilbeck

Monte Zahn Dilbeck, 50-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO departed this life Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.  Monte was born February 21, 1968 in Doniphan, MO to Monte Bedford Dilbeck, Jr. and Judy Hastings Dilbeck.  He had worked in the timber industry and loved people, having never met a stranger; he also enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Indianapolis Colts football; enjoyed people watching, and loved listening to music

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Monte Bedford Dilbeck, Jr.

 

Monte is survived by a special friend Rhonda Patton of Doniphan, MO; his mother Judy Dilbeck of Doniphan, MO; 1 son Heath (Jessica) Casteel of Doniphan, MO; 3 grandchildren;  2 sisters, Mechelle Johnson (David Beardsley) and Djuana (Gerald) Taylor both of Doniphan, MO; Nieces Monique (Traviss) Conn, Nickolette Johnson; Nephews Levi (Katelynn) Taylor; Zachary (Emily) Taylor; Great Nieces and Nephews, Kaedyn Harp, Kirsten Conn, Logen Conn, P.J. Lowden, Khyra Lowden, Makenzie Taylor, Makaylah Taylor, and Makennah Taylor.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Shirley Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday.
