Obituary of Izora Marie Robinson

Izora Marie Robinson, 96, departed this life Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her family.  Mrs. Robinson, daughter of the late Frank and Effie (Link) Murray, was born March 3, 1922, in Ripley County.

She married the love of her life, Grady Robinson Sr., October 22, 1936, at the age of 14.  They were married for almost 63 years when he passed away in September of 1999.

She spent her life working on their farm, taking care of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as caring for several other family members and children she took care of through the years.  She was mother and grandmother to many.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, flowers, canning and cooking for everyone, but she thoroughly enjoyed taking care of her family. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, one infant sister, one brother Norman Murray, son-in-law, Olen Robinett, 1 great grandchild and one great-great grandchild.

Surviving are three children, Grady (Joanne) Robinson Jr., Glenna Robinett, Graling Robinson, 9 grandchildren Terry (Kathy) Robinson, Wade Robinson, Cristy (Steve) Moore, Annisa White, Grady (Tammy) Robinett, Glennell Stilwell, Shanna (Gale) Brown, Dawnita (John) Steward, Shawon (Linda) Robinson, 17 Great Grandchildren Cody (Tiffany) Robinson, Kim (David) Buxton, Terry Robinson Jr, Justin (Katelyn) Robinson, Heath and Keisha White, Hannah Stilwell, Grady Clark and Emma Robinett, Austin and Lucas Christian, Kassidey Brown, Keon, Amelia, and Amarissa Steward, Cody and J.D.; five great-great-grandchildren Sydney and Adrienne Robinson, Brock Robinson, Reese and Decker Buxton.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.  She had a caring and generous heart and will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be Friday June 15, 2018 6-8 pm at Edwards Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday June 16, 2018 at 10 am at Edwards Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Sanford officiating, burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
