Obituary of Marvin Andy Presley

Marvin Andy Presley, 69, of Maynard, Arkansas, died Monday, June 4, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Presley, son of Willie Odis and Grace (Wardlow) Presley was born May 18, 1949, in Bardley, Missouri.  He had been an over-the-road truck driver.  Mr. Presley enjoyed drawing, hunting, fishing and forging knives.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had served in the Vietnam War.

Surviving are 10 children:  June Presley; Ruth Presley Wade of Moses Lake, Washington; Joyce Presley of Tri Cities, Washington; Shane Presley of Maynard, Arkansas; Lee Presley of Ava, Missouri; Alton Cory Presley of Tri Cities, Washington, Ninna Presley Wallace and Lynda Presley, both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; Tammy Jackson of Doniphan, Missouri; and Sam Presley of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; 3 sisters:  June Schrodt, Jerry Slett and his twin sister, Mildred Knowles, all of Washington; 2 brothers, Richard Presley and Sterling Presley, both of Washington; and several grandchildren.

Mr. Presley was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Paul Presley, Carl Presley, Dauche Presley and William Presley and 1 child, Ismial Presley.

A graveside service will take place Friday, June 15, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
