Obituary of Vicki Lawrence

Violet "Vicki" Lawrence, 71, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, died Sunday, October 2, 2011, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan, Missouri. Ms. Lawrence, daughter of Frank and Dorothy (Anderson) Foulks, was born October 5, 1939, in Tucker, Missouri. She owned and operated The Coffee Cup in Doniphan. Ms. Lawrence enjoyed baseball, traveling and being with her church group. She was very active in her church. Surviving are one son, Kevin (and Amy) Lawrence of Doniphan; one sister, Frankie Ballard of Florida; five brothers, Dale Foulks, Jim Foulks and Doyle Foulks, all of Doniphan, Ed Foulks of Cahokia, Illinois, and Frank Chastine of Pocahontas; one sister, Dorine Brown of Doniphan; and three grandchildren, Madyson, Hannah and Brody. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Foulks and Dorothy Anderson Foulks Calvert, her step-father, Amos Calvert, one sister, Barbara Sue Crapo, one brother, Charles "Whitey" Foulks and one step-brother, Pat Calvert. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, October 4, 2011, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place Wednesday afternoon, October 4, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Eric Leroux officiating. Burial will follow in the Tucker Cemetery.
