Obituary of Barbara Jean Hastings

Barbara Jean Hastings, 76, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, May 28, 2018, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  She was born December 21, 1941.

Mrs. Hastings had retired from Hostess Bakery having worked in the production line for a number of years.  She loved her dogs, flower beds and gardening and was a member of the Doniphan Church of Christ.

She was married to Pal Hastings and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2008.

Surviving are 1 son, Joe Hastings of Florida; 6 grandchildren, Jerry Casey, Melody Dickerson, Crystal Harper Diana Crader, Jason Hastings and Ashley Hastings; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, June 2, 2018, in the Edwards Funeral Home at Doniphan.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Steve Sanders officiating.  Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery in rural Ripley County, Missouri.
