Obituary of Raymond Roy Parsley

Raymond Roy Parsley, 88, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Parsley, son of Tom and Silas (Campbell) Parsley, was born January 5, 1930, in Briar, Missouri.  He had been a trencher in the construction industry.  Mr. Parsley enjoyed working on lawn mowers and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

He was married to Shirley (Sullivan) and she survives.

Also surviving are 1 daughter, Teresa (Gary) Meyers of Plant City, Florida; 1 sister, Elsie Lenn (Doc) Dunn of Arcadia, Florida; and 1 grandson, Kyle (Amanda) Meyers of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Eb Parsley.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, May 26, 2018, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery near Doniphan.
