Jacqolin Ward, 77, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, September 24, 2011, at her residence.
Mrs. Ward, daughter of Harold B. and Ruth (Trueblood) Shepard, was born August 25, 1934, in Vincennes, Indiana. She was a housewife. Mrs. Ward was a devoted mother and was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church and Eastern Star.
She was married to Donald Ward on November 12, 1966, in Sharpsville, Indiana. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2008.
Surviving are four sons; Randall Ward of Chula Vista, California, Richard Ward of Kokomo, Indiana, Michael Ward of Forest, Indiana, and Roger Ward of Doniphan; two daughters, Karen Eaton of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jennifer Strain of Mulberry, Indiana; one sister, Mary Pearl Hill of Kokomo, Indiana; two brothers, John B. Shepard of Florida and Larry B. Shepard of Dallas, Texas; nineteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening, September 29, 2011, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. An Eastern Star service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place Friday morning, September 30, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 with Pastor Roy Davis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Center Hill Cemetery.
