Obituary of James E. (Gene) Tennison

JAMES E. (Gene) TENNISON

April 24th, 1921 - February 8th, 2018

James E. (Gene) Tennison, formerly of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away February 8th, 2018 in Falls City, Nebraska at the age of 96.

Gene was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Thelma Carrigan Tennison, his parents Franklin M. Tennison and Malissa Couch Tennison, brothers, Lewis, Frank (Bud), and William (Bill) Tennison and sisters Ilene Myers and Betty Tibbs.

Gene is survived by his children, Linda Long Wallace of Williams Lake, British Columbia, Sandra Chaffee, Falls City, Nebraska, Jim Tennison, Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Bill Tennison of Doniphan, Missouri.

Gene is also survived by his 2 brothers, Walter Tennison of St. Peters, Missouri and Malcom Tennison of Raymore, Missouri; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Tennison was a WWII Veteran and proudly served with the 550th Airborne Infantry Battalion.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19th, 2018; 1 PM at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan, Missouri.

Visitation hours will be from 6-8 PM Sunday, February 18th at Edwards Funeral Home.
