Obituary of Sharon Crawford

Sharon K. Crawford, age 70, passed from this life and into the next on Monday, February 5^th, at her home in Grandin Mo. She was born in Peoria IL on June 1^st to Carl and Elsie Personette. She married Eugene W. Crawford in September of 1963. Together, they had three children; Adrienne, Eugene Jr, and Brian.

 

Sharon worked as a pie chef at Peoria’s Hunts restaurant and retired from there. Gene and Sharon were members of the Chillicothe Sportsmans Club for many years. Sharon had moved to Grandin to take care of her brother Carl during his illness and decided to stay.

 

Sharon is survived by two sisters, Diane Brewer (Bob) and Lillian Draper (Brad), two granddaughters, Patrician Ann Mather and Mary Catherine Mills, nieces and nephews and two adopted daughters, Pat Putman and Denise Stanley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, her daughter, Adrienne, and her sons, Eugene Jr, and Brian, her brother Carl, and her parents.

 

Sharon’s Memorial Service will be held at the Second Baptist Church fellowship hall, 6417 W. Farmington Road behind the church, Peoria, IL on Saturday, February 17^th at 1 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sharon’s name to the UnityPoint Health Methodist/Proctor Foundation, 120 Northeast Glen Oak, Suite 101, Peoria IL  61603.
