Shirley Jane Black, 72, of Ellsinore, died September 15, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Ms. Black, daughter of Reagon & Genevive (Thompson) Roam, was born May 10, 1939 , in Grandin, MO. She was a home maker.
She married Dale Edgar Black in Ellisnore. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1988.
Ms. Black is survived by; four sons, Kevin (Tina) Whitlow of Doniphan, Steven Davis of IL, Jeff Black of Ellsinore, and Monroe (April) Black of Germany; three daughters, Karen (Wayne) Burgin of Garwood, Carol Jean Mills of Grandin, Jamie (Jimmy) Shaffer of Ellsinore, sister Sharon Roam of Grandin and one brother Dean Roam of Grandin, 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Ms. Black was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Sonny Roam, and one son Joseph Whitlow.
Visitation will be Sunday September 18 at 5:30 PM till 8:00 PM the funeral services will be 2 PM Monday September 19, with Dr. Michael Phelps officiating. Burial Will be in Grandin Cemetery in Grandin, MO.
