Obituary of Adam Ritchey

Adam Lee Ritchey, 24, of McLeansboro, Illinois, died Friday, January 7, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Mr. Ritchey, son of Sylvester Ritchey and Kathy Jean Harris Ritchey, was born August 8, 1986, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was a salesman for Kirby Vacuum Cleaners. Mr. Ritchey was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post #106 and McLeansboro Eagles Lodge.
He is survived by his parents, Sylvester Ritchey of Grandin, Missouri, and Kathy Jean (Harris) Ritchey of McLeansboro, Illinois; one sister, Debra Ritchey, and one brother, Noel Ritchey, both of McLeansboro, Illinois; and one niece, Hali Hancock, one aunt, Norma Laughard, and two uncles, Dewayne Laughard and Bobby Laughard, all of McLeansboro, Illinois.
Visitation for Mr. Ritchey will be Wednesday, January 12, 2011, starting at noon at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to be in the Grandin City Cemetery.
