Obituary of J. T. Robertson

J. T. Robertson, 60, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, December 17, 2017, in Doniphan.

Mr. Robertson, son of Roy and Ethel (Coleman) Robertson, was born July 27, 1957, in Doniphan.  He had been a “right-hand man” employee of Reed Oil Company.  J. T. enjoyed trivia and working with timber in his shop and on motors.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Surviving are 4 sisters:  Loretta Epperson of Festus, Missouri, Cynthia (Jim) Gray of Ellsinore, Missouri, and Phyllis Robertson and Pamela Hampton, both of Doniphan; 4 brothers; Ronald (Hermmena) Robertson, Herb (Angella) Robertson and Carl Robertson, all of Doniphan and Danny Robertson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and 2 grandchildren, Anna Brame and Jensen Boggs.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Bonnie Robertson and Joyce Muse; 1 brother, Dean Robertson; and 1 brother-in-law, Red Epperson.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, December 20, 2017, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.  The funeral service will begin Thursday, December 21, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Hubert Payne officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
