Obituary of Michael Allen Wetzel

Michael Allen Wetzel, 63, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, December 9, 2017, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Mr. Wetzel, son of the late Harold Otho and Sara Lee (Lane) Wetzel, was born September 27, 1954, in Kodiak, Alaska.  He was owner and CEO of North Texas Circuit Boards.  Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, scuba diving, traveling, coaching Logan’s sports and was an avid reader.  He was a member of Safari Club, Ducks Unlimited, Wild Turkey Federation and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.  Mr. Wetzel was a member of His Place Church.

On December 31, 1995, he was married to Dana Leigh Dominy in Las Vegas, Nevada, and she survives.

Also surviving are 1 son, Logan Allen Wetzel of Doniphan; 1 adopted son, David Michael Johnston of Tampa, Florida; 1 sister, Cheryl Kinder of Moko, Arkansas; and 1 brother, David Wetzel of Divide, Colorado.  Michael left behind numerous family, friends, loved ones, and many people touched by his life throughout the world.

A memorial service will take place Friday afternoon, December 15, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.
