Barbara "Barbie" Jo Thompson, 32, of Doniphan, died Friday September 9, 2011, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Ms. Thompson, daughter of Ed & Cindy (Householder) Thompson, was born May 20, 1979, in Granite City, IL. She was employed at Gates in Poplar Bluff. Ms. Thompson attended Doniphan United Methodist Church & enjoyed spending time with her family.
Ms. Thompson is survived by her parents; her fiancé Mike Bailey of Doniphan; two sons Chase Thompson & Gage Bailey both of Doniphan; two sisters Amber Thompson and Amanda Thompson of Ripley County; one brother Bryan Thompson of Doniphan; Maternal Grandparents Lucy and Bob Hoffman of Doniphan and Dallas & Peggy Householder of Piggot AR.
Visitation will begin Wednesday September 14 from 5-8 PM at Edwards Funeral Home. The Funeral will begin Thursday September 15 at 11:00 AM with Bro Kent Wilfong officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date.
