Obituary of Justin Adam Young

Justin Adam Young, 36, of Blytheville, Arkansas, died Saturday, September 2, 2017, in rural Ripley County, Highway 160 east of Doniphan, Missouri.

Mr. Young, son of Dennis Young and Pam (Donnell) Barr, was born March 25, 1981, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  He was a pipe fitter and welder and had formerly lived in the Ripley County area.  Mr. Young enjoyed deer hunting, Nascar and loved riding his motorcycle.  He also had a passion for  music, especially playing the guitar and writing music, but first and foremost, he liked spending time with his family.  Justin was a Christian and had a strong, personal relationship with the Lord.

Surviving are his parents, Dennis Young of Poplar Bluff and Pam (Monroe) Barr of Bartow, Florida; 4 children, Kayla (Claudio) Hernandez of Poplar Bluff and Braidy Young, Parker Young and Cash Young, all of Sikeston, Missouri; 2 sisters, Brandi (Joe) Lowery of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Summer (James) McChristian of Blue Springs, Mississippi; 3 brothers, Joey (Carin) Young, Kevin Young and Kyle (Jessica) Young, all of Poplar Bluff;1 grandchild, Bodhi Hernandez of Poplar Bluff; maternal grandparents, Landon and Mary Donnell of Doniphan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Justin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Travis and Geneva Young.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, September 6, 2017, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.  The funeral will take place Thursday morning, September 7, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor/Brother-in-Law Joe Lowery officiating.  Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery.
