Obituary of Diana Lynn Meyer

 

Diana Lynn (Roberts) Meyer, 62, of Benton, Illinois, went to be with our Lord and Saviour on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at her residence after battling cancer, surrounded by her family.

She was born March 18, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Helen (Pippin) Pigg and Bill Roberts.  An ordained minister, Diana loved dogs, crafts, reading and cooking, especially baking.

On June 30, 1973, she was married to the love of her life, Raymond Meyer I.  He survives.

Also surviving are her parents; her mother-in-law, Faye Meyer; her children, Angela (Chad) Brown and Raymond (Jill) Meyer; her grandchildren, Brandon Meyer, Connor and Morgan Smith and Laci and Jeff Brown; and her fur baby, Tasha.  Diana is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends; her brothers, Danny (Sylvia) Pigg and Monty Roberts; brother-in-law Edward (Tabitha) Meyer; sister-in-law, Cathy (Joey) Clairday; and long-time friend, Debbie Spease.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Art Meyer; maternal grandparents, Henry and Eula Pippin; and paternal grandparents, Henry and Rosalie Roberts.

Visitation will begin Saturday morning, July 22, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.  The funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel with Brothers Ronnie Payne and Marvin Richards officiating.  Burial will be in the Ward Cemetery in Fairdealing, Missouri.
