Obituary of Billy Dale Harlow

Billy Dale Harlow, 66, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, July 16, 2017, at the John J. Pershing V. A. Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Mr. Harlow, son of George and Dorothy (Tombs) Harlow, was born June 14, 1951, in Mexico, Missouri.  He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Army and served during the Vietnam War in special operations.  Billy enjoyed helping people, poker runs and the over-the-road motorcycle club.

Surviving are 5 children; Shane Harlow and Brandon Harlow, both of Doniphan, Dustie Patty of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Sossity Riordan of California and Jason Harlow of Birmingham, Alabama; 1 sister, Norma Jean Valentino of St. Louis, Missouri; 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and his significant other of 26 years, Belinda MacDonald of Doniphan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Jerry Harlow and James Roy Harlow.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017,  at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Alan Harlan officiating.  Billy will be interred in the Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
