Obituary of Thomas Dandurand

Thomas Dandurand of Grandin, Missouri, died Monday, August 29, 2011, at the V. A. Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Dandurand was born May 29, 1927, in Evanston, Illinois. He was a retired letter press printer. He enjoyed working on the home that he and his wife built themselves. Mr. Dandurand was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army.
On August 19, 1946, he married Elizabeth Rauch in Park Ridge, Illinois, and she survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lorraine Schultz of Gulliver, Michigan, and Kathryn Pleines of Chicago, Illinois; one grandson, Derick Buckely, one granddaughter, Frances Pleines, one great-granddaughter, Savannah Morrison; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Rose Pleines-Zich.
A memorial service will be held Thursday afternoon, September 1, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.
