Freddie, Ramona, Steve and all of Dr. Leroux’s family,
No words can truly express what Dr. Leroux has done to support his family and our community as a whole. Dr. Leroux was one of those extremely rare types of Drs., as well as people in general, who gave their all to do whatever was needed, by whomever and whatever the time! God Bless you Dr. Leroux for your generous heart of love for your fellow man; you will never be forgotten!

Mary and Family,
I wanted to let you know you are all in my prayers. Doc was one of a kind. I always enjoyed going to see him even If I felt very bad, it was always a treat. He always had a funny story and big smile. I remember him and my parents laughing about some silly jokes, they enjoyed telling it brings a smile to my face to think about it. I have always enjoyed bumping into you and Doc when you where out and about. I send my love and prayers to you and your family during this time that God stands near to comfort you.

I want to extend our condolences to all of the family for the loss of Gene. My father, James Horn, was very close in childhood to his cousin Gene, he spoke of him often. I wish I had had more chances to spend time with Gene, but I am proud to be a member of a family that produced such a fine and beloved man. Our prayers are with you all.

Thoughts and Prayers for the Family of a very fine Doctor indeed. He delivered me In 1962 and delivered my first born son December 1976 and he weighed only 2 1/2 pounds kept him in an incubater for several weeks and saved him. He is a father of 3 with a wife and still at 40 yrs old is doing great. He was our family doctor for many of years never forget him and what he had done for us. May he rest in Peace never to be forgotten as a doctor who never believed in retirement.

My family sends our condolences and prayers to the Leroux Family at this time.
Because of "Docs" untiring devotion to this small community, many people have witnessed big city medical care in a country setting.
I know that he made several late hour visits to my family when they were too sick to go to his office. He was never too busy to talk to a patient, or family of a patient. He showed genuine care for people.
God Bless.

My heartfelt sympathy and love sent to all of Doc's family and closest friends. I always admired his sense of love, patience and understanding for all he came into contact with. When I think of his kind nature and bright smile, I am grateful to have known and worked with him if only for that short while at RCMC. To his family, may you find comfort through God's presence in the many days ahead knowing you will miss him terribly. Ripley County will never find a finer man to serve their community such as he did.
