Patrick Anthony Neel, 56, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Neel, son of Jerald and Olive Marie (Albrecht) Neel, was born September 11, 1960, in San Bernardino, California. He had been a bus driver for the Doniphan R-1 Public School System in Doniphan. Mr. Neel enjoyed driving the school bus and loved dogs and working on vehicles. He was an avid Oklahoma University Sooners football fan. Mr. Neel attended the Current River Baptist Church.
On July 23, 1993, he was married to Diana Macheal Gambling in Jefferson City, Missouri, and she survives.
Also surviving are 1 sister, Joann Neel DeBrian of Jefferson City; and 1 brother, Kevin Neel of Ashland, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Mary Neel and Judy Todd; and 1 brother, Steven Neel.
Visitation will be held Monday evening, January 23, 2017, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow Tuesday morning, January 24, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Heather Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.
