Ronald Gene Hagan, 79, of Seaford, Delaware, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Seaford.
Mr. Hagan, son of James Robert and Malinda Elizabeth (Rosson) Hagan, was born May 17, 1937, in Ponder, Missouri. He had retired as an over-the-road truck driver. Mr. Hagan enjoyed Cardinal baseball, bluegrass festivals, motorcycles and the Denver Broncos. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Surviving are 4 children: Gary (and Cheryl) Hagan of Yulee, Florida, Natalia Hagan of Mocksville, North Carolina, and Michelle (Mark Howe) Hagan and Aaron Hagan, both of Golden, Colorado; 1 sister, Ona Elkins of Doniphan, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Pearl Hagan of Doniphan; 1 brother, Wayne Hagan of Springdale, Arkansas; 3 grandchildren, Joetta (Tom Player) Dixon, Jacob Hagan and Jesse (Jessi) Hagan; great-grandchildren, Rebecca Dixon and Ethan Dixon; and his partner, Joseph Gavlick.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Ed Hagan, Vernon “Bud” Hagan and Bobby Joe Hagan; and 2 sisters, Muriel Elkins and Fern Murdock..
Visitation will be held Sunday evening, November 5, 2016, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place Monday morning, November 7, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Brother Jared Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery with full military honors
