Linda Joy McDonald, 65, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Friday, August 5, 2016, at her residence in rural Ripley County.
Mrs. McDonald, daughter of Merlin and Stella (Grabowski) Sims, was born May 17, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois. She had been an elementary school secretary in Phoenix, Arizona. Mrs. McDonald enjoyed painting, doing ceramics and being with her family.
On January 31, 1976, she was married to Regis McDonald in Phoenix and he survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Jennifer McDonald of Doniphan; and one sister, Gail Sims Snider of Phoenix.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Merilyn Kurtzweil.
A memorial service will be held Saturday morning, August 13, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.
