Freida J. Breuning, 91, of Fairdealing, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at The Manor in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Breuning, daughter of the late Joseph Peyton and Dora (Mansfield) Fouts, was born May 27, 1924, in Memphis, Tennessee. She had been a hospital technician and was a member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church. Mrs. Breuning was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed the outdoors, especially watching the hummingbirds.
She had been married to Eric Breuning, Jr., and he preceded her in death in 1974.
Surviving are 1 daughter-in-law, Christine Breuning of Fairdealing; 4 grandchildren: Miriam (Bobby) Painter, Debbie (Bobby) Hill, Amanda (Greg) Elliott and Joe (Ashley) Breuning; 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by l daughter, Susan Wallace and 1 son, Lee Breuning; and 2 sisters, Muriel and Mae.
Visitation will begin Monday, May 30, 2016, at 10:00 a.m.at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. A graveside service will follow at noon at the Arnold Cemetery delivered by Reverend John Harwell.
