Marjorie Murriel Fite, 85, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, August 1, 2011, at her residence in Doniphan.
Mrs. Fite, daughter of Marvin and Bertha Mae (Rawson) Forshee, was born September 2, 1925, in Bonne Terre, Missouri. She had been a bookkeeper with Crawford Electric. Mrs. Fite enjoyed sewing, traveling and gardening .
She was married to Wesley Fite on May 8, 1946, in Hillsboro, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2008.
Surviving are two children, Thomas Linn "Tom" Fite of Doniphan and Ruth Ann (Fite) Skipper of Huntsville, Alabama; two sisters, Donna Byington of St. Louis, Missouri, and Mary Lea James; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, Carol Sue Reynolds, Dorothy Crouch and Betty Forshee, and two brothers, Richard Forshee and Robert Forshee.
Private memorial services are planned.
