Betty Grace Hulan Johnson, 75, of Bardley, Missouri, died Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Betty, daughter of Russell and Marie (Stockton) Hulan, was born November 20, 1940, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was co-pastor of Twin Pines Pentecostal Church. On July 13, 1956, she was married to J. W. Johnson and he survives. Also surviving are 4 children: Jim Johnson and wife, Karen of Bardley, Missouri, Jesse Johnson and wife, Penny of Caseyville, Illinois, Melody Williams and husband, Kenneth of Bardley, Missouri, and Gayla Williams and husband, Bruce of Bardley, Missouri; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Don Johnson, a daughter-in-law, Kim Dale Johnson and a twin sister, Peggy Rutledge. Betty was most known for her talent to take a little of nothing and make it feed an army of friends and family. She loved cooking and having big get-togethers. Mushrooms were one of her most favorite items to eat and she had neighbors and family that made sure she got plenty of them. She was an avid Tuesday night Weight Watcher and she loved to play Candy Crush. She never met a stranger as she loved people. She was a Mother to all and her Spiritual Leadership guided and blessed many lives. She was loved by many and will truly be missed Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, May 18, 2016, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place Thursday morning, May 19, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Bardley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Twin Pines Pentecostal Church.
