Sherman J. Cambron, 81, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, departed this life Sunday, February 28, 2016, at his residence.
Mr. Cambron, son of Sherman and Karlene Cambron, was born August 12, 1934, in Morehouse, Missouri. He had worked in steel and aluminum for 50 years and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was married to Mary Halley April 24, 1954 and she survives. They were happily married for 61 years.
Also surviving are 3 sons, Randy Cambron, David Cambron and Mike Cambron; 3 sisters, Sherry Bowers, Peggy Tillman and Vaneda Williams; and 1 brother, Bill Cambron of Jackson, Missouri; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Alta Halley of Bethalto, Illinois
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning, March 3, 2016, in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Steve Proctor officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
