Obituary of Roma Renee Ketchem

Roma Renee (Staggs) Ketchem, 61, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this world on February 4, 2016, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her father, J. H. Staggs. Roma left behind her husband of almost 40 years, Dennis Ketchem. Also surviving are 3 daughters: Lisa (Ronnie) Bohannon, Regina (Chris) Sisco and Jennifer (Wade) Smith, all of Doniphan; 2 sons, Tony (Jessica) Ketchem and Wade Ketchem, also of Doniphan; 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Also surviving are her mother, Joyce Staggs of Doniphan; 2 sisters, Carolyn (Robert) Payne and Kathy Staggs, both of Doniphan; and 2 brothers, Donny (Cricket) Staggs of Doniphan and Steve (Darlene) Staggs of California. She also had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends that she treasured dearly. Roma was of the Christian faith so we can have peace knowing she is in the arms of the Lord. She loved her family dearly and she jumped at every opportunity to hold the babies. Of all her many accomplishments being “Mom” was her most prized. She loved deeply and will be dearly missed. Visitation for Mrs. Ketchem will begin at noon Sunday, February 7, 2016, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jason Jordan officiating.
