Janice Diane Royer, 65, of Oxly, Missouri, departed this life Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Royer, daughter of Raymond and Marguerite (Roberts) Cable, was born September 25, 1950, in Sacremento, California. She was a housewife and attended Pilgrim’s Rest Church. Mrs. Royer enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
On January 8, 1971, she was married to Melvin Royer in Doniphan, Missouri, and he survives.
Also surviving are 3 children: John McGonigal of Salt Lake City, Utah, Amanda Royer of Poplar Bluff and Kevin Royer of Oxly; 5 brothers, Dennis Cable, Allen Cable and Mike Cable, all of Lexington, Kentucky, Edward Cable of California and Shane Cable of Poplar Bluff; and 11 grandchildren, Megan, Aubrey, Zachary, Travis, Lily, Destiny, Devin, Fisher, Christian, Tessie and Mason.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Christopher Royer and James Melvin Royer.
Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel and burial will be in the Amity Cemetery.
