Janice Carol Lynxwiler, 68, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, July 17, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Lynxwiler, daughter of Barton "Bo" and Dorothy "Cricket" (Adams) Webb, was born September 19, 1942, in Doniphan. She had been a club manager at V.F.W. Post #3485 and was also a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Lynxwiler, a life-long resident of Doniphan, loved her "critters". She was married to Jerry "Shakey" Lynxwiler on November 4, 1972, in Doniphan and he survives. Also surviving are three sons; Steve Authur Meyer of Cool, California, Kenneth Kirk Meyer of Middleburg, Florida, and Robert Scott Meyer of Doniphan; two sisters, Joan Thompson of Fairdealing, Missouri, and Jane Godwin of Corpus Christi, Texas; two brothers, Danny Wayne Webb of George West, Texas, and Donny Guy Webb of Buffalo, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jennifer Smith of Doniphan, Steven Meyer, Jr. of Cool, California, and Tyler Meyer of Middleburg, Florida; and two great-grandchildren, Jessica Smith and Kaytlin Smith, both of Doniphan. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jacqueline Sue Dean. Visitation for Mrs. Lynxwiler will be Tuesday evening, July 19, 2011, from 5- 8 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday morning, July 20, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home chapel with Brother Larry Earl officiating. Burial will be in the Brakebill Cemetery near Middlebrook, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post #3485.
