Juanita Lucinda Elliott, 86 year old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Tuesday, November 10, 2015, in Grandin, MO. She was born January 3, 1929, to the late Charles and Rhoda Wilder Sisco, in Corning, AR. Juanita enjoyed sewing, knitting, canning, and taking care of her family.
On October 3, 1949, in Piggott, AR she was married to James Lee Roy Elliott, who preceded her in death in 1993. Also preceding her in death were daughters, Lynett Elliott, Alpha Haney, and Mary Baker; sisters Bertha Richardson and Edna Maxwell; and brothers, Eddie, Ray and Johnny Sisco.
Surviving are daughters, Juanita (Yoseff) Eltabar of San Diego, CA; Shirley (Charles) Morse of Hendrickson, MO; sons, Charles (Carol) Elliott of Colona, IL; Andrew (Jeanette) Elliott of Malden, MO; four of her grandchildren whom she adopted, Dusty Thomasson of Doniphan; Charles (Heather) Baker of Antigo, WI; Christina Colley of Antigo, WI; James Baker of Doniphan; sisters, Hazel Conn, Beulah McKnight, and Linda Garren of Doniphan; brother Bud Sisco of Doniphan; and she is also survived by many grand and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Elliott will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 13, 2015 in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at noon on Friday. Burial will follow in the Ponder Cemetery.
Memorials are being accepted for the family at Edwards Funeral Home.
