Obituary of "Dink" Rosa Louise Hilding

“Dink” Rosa Louise Hilding, 68 year old resident of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life, Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Dink was born May 13, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa, to the late Charles Edward Hilding and Alma (Perrenoud) Hilding. Ms. Hilding worked as a speech pathologist and later enjoyed her time managing a farm. She also enjoyed bowling, golfing, and reading. She served the United States as a member of the US Navy. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Janet Morris, and a brother, Kenny Hilding. Surviving are a niece that was loved as a daughter Lori Hoefer, a long time friend considered as a sister Shirley Hunt; sisters, Mary Friemel, Martha McAtee, and Patty Jean Calvert; brothers, Richard Hilding, Johnny Hilding, Jim Hilding, & Bill Hilding; several nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved dog, Whoopsie. Visitation will be held from 5-7:30 PM Tuesday with Rosary starting at 7:30 PM, November 3, 2015, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Doniphan. Funeral services for Ms. Hilding will be Wednesday at 11 am, November 4, 2015, at the St. Benedict Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Hitt Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers are John Littell, Dale Hudson, Tom Mobley, Todd Berry, Clay Mobley & Tim Bilbrey.
