Marjorie May Ray, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, departed this life Sunday, October 4, 2015, at her residence.
Mrs. Ray, daughter of Kenneth and Beulah (Barnhard) Osborn, was born November 10, 1929, in Muskegon, Michigan. She had been a homemaker and enjoyed her beloved dog, Chico.
On August 3, 1963, she was married to Julian Ray in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he preceded her in death in 1996.
Surviving are one daughter, Kathie Daves of Poplar Bluff; 3 step-children, Rhoda Pawlak of Seattle, Washington, and Mary Holmes and Twila Ogdon, both of Farmington, New Mexico; 2 sisters, Carolyn Brooks of Twin Lakes, Michigan, and Judith Potter of Muskegon, Michigan; 1 brother, Orvil Osborn of Grand Haven, Michigan; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 sister, Marion Vanderkooi, and 1 brother, Kenneth Osborn.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday afternoon, October 7, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Center Hill Cemetery near Doniphan with Brother Ron Payne officiating.
