Shirley, Kim and family,
I was so sorry to learn of Max's passing. He was a very special person and everyone was richer for having known him and having him for a friend. He always had a smile and a great story to tell.
I felt very lucky that Gary and I ran into you the last time I was in Doniphan. Gary and I still laugh about the stories he told us that day. Dad and mom always had special thoughts for Max and dad had many stories of their years at the Post Office.
My thoughts will be will you at this time.

Max was a longtime neighbor and friend. He was our postman for years and such a sweet man. I grew up with Kim and we played in their backyard and terrorized the neighborhood. Max was always cheerful and friendly and always had a smile. Even in recent years when I saw him out, we had good visits. He will be missed.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Max, he was a great friend and neighbor and will be sorely missed by all. He had one of those traits that I wish more people had of never saying anything negative about anyone. Our condolences to the family and praying that the Lord will be with you during this trying time. With deepest sympathy, Whit and Janet
