Ella Marie McKinney, 72 year old resident of Doniphan died March 1, 2007, at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan. Mrs. McKinney was born August 4, 1934,in Perkins, Oklahoma. Mrs. McKinney was a housewife and mother, and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, fishing, and being outdoors watching birds and squirels. On October 17, 1950, she was married to John McKinney in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He survives. Also surviving are three children, Pat Eikerman, Henry Dewayne and Orson Edwin McKinney all of Doniphan; four sisters, Bertha Pricer of Perkins, Oklahoma; Edith Crestsinger of Perkins, Oklahoma; Patricia Davis of Perkins, Oklahoma; Lydia Kirkendall of Aline, Oklahoma; three brothers, Walter Davis and Raymond Davis of Perkins, Oklahoma, and Jim Davis of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Mrs. McKinney will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 5, 2007, at the Amity Cemetery with the Rev. Hubert Payne officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until service time on Monday.
