Everett Roy Simpson
Everett Roy Simpson, 81, of Gatewood, Missouri, died Thursday, February 22, 2007, at the John J. Pershing V.A. Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Simpson was born March 5, 1925, in Indianapolis, Indiana He was retired military.
On February 21, 2000, he as married to Phyllis Stogsdill in Thayer, Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters; Sharron Ujiiye and husband, Ron, of Boise, Idaho and Jeanette Ridlon of Kenosha, Wisconsin; one brother Clifford Simpson of Kentucky; four granddaughters; Andra Anderson and Kristi Swanson of Boise, Idaho, Anne Regazzi of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Jennifer Utesch of Riverside, California; six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Simpson and May Sloan Simpson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home. A memorial service will following at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Billy Joe McDonald officiating.
